Host of culture of human Library: Dhilon Gurbir Singh Jatt 狄雷龍

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Dhillon is a third-generation Indian social worker with deep community roots. He can speak in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, and Nepali.

With 6 years of social work experience, Dhillon has supported children, youth, and older adults, and currently works in the mental health field. He believes language is a powerful bridge between people and is committed to promoting culturally inclusive social welfare services for ethnically diverse clients—leaving no one behind.

Dhillon also serves as a community role model for the next generation, highlighting that differences among people are strengths, not barriers. These unique characteristics may include language, professional recognition, cultural understanding, and academic background, etc..

In the Human Library series, each featured interview is carefully selected to celebrate individuality and broaden perspectives beyond ethnicity alone. The goal is to help audiences recognize common humanity while appreciating the many ways individuals may differ.
